Welcome to the Career Center for The Neiman Marcus Group LLC (“Neiman Marcus”). Recruiting the right talent is crucial to our goals. Because we gather certain types of personal information about applicants through our Career Center, we want to help you understand the terms and conditions surrounding the collection, use, and disclosure of that information.


This Career Center is intended for a U.S. audience. Any information you provide, including any personal information, will be transferred to and processed by a computer server located within the United States and will be handled in accordance with this policy and U.S. law.


Your Consent

By submitting your resume or any other information to the Career Center, you consent to the terms described below. Before you submit any information, please read this Policy carefully. The Information That We Collect About You And How We Use It

If you are interested in a job at Neiman Marcus and you choose to submit a resume and/or additional information to us, we will use that information to evaluate your application for employment and for related recruiting, reporting, and recordkeeping purposes, such as to check references or to conduct pre-employment screening.


If we decide to extend you a conditional offer of employment and you authorize us to obtain a background check, you may provide us your Social Security number and date of birth through the Career Center for purposes of conducting a background check where permitted by applicable law. We will encrypt your Social Security number and date of birth and then securely transmit it to our background check provider.  We will not use this information for any purpose in connection with your application for employment except to conduct a background check.


If Neiman Marcus hires you, the information that you submitted through the Career Center and the information that we collect during the application process will become part of your personnel records and may be used to administer the employment relationship and for related reporting and recordkeeping purposes. Neiman Marcus will keep this information for the entire duration of your employment relationship with Neiman Marcus and for as long thereafter as permitted or required by applicable law.


Neiman Marcus will retain the information of applicants on file for consideration for other positions and for our internal recordkeeping and reporting purposes.  If you wish to withdraw your application from consideration at any time, you can do so by contacting us at ApplicantSupport@NeimanMarcus.com    

Neiman Marcus employees involved in the evaluation of your application and, if you are hired, in the administration of your employment relationship with Neiman Marcus will have access to your personal information on a need-to-know basis.

If we change this Career Center Policy, we will post those changes on this page and update the Career Center Policy modification date above.  If we materially change this Career Center Policy in a way that affects how we use or disclose your personal information we will notify you by prominently posting a notices of such changes before making them and by stating the effective date of the changes.
